It’s important to consider that in order to get to the root of an issue, it may be necessary to undergo several sessions in hypnosis. In fact, the average is about six sessions to resolve the majority of issues. An article published in American Health Magazine posted the results of a study comparing the effectiveness of Hypnotherapy versus more traditional forms of therapy.
Recovery Rates from various treatments Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery after 600 sessions Behavior Therapy: 72% recovery after 22 sessions Hypnotherapy: 93% recovery after 6 sessions
Our first session would be a pleasant discussion about your goals and understanding of hypnosis followed by a progressive relaxation into hypnosis where we will begin our journey.
Subsequent sessions will become more involved and can include interactive therapy (this is where you and I communicate openly while you’re in the hypnotic state) and/or reinforcement with direct therapy (I do all the work while you simply relax, enjoy, and absorb positive suggestions).
